Overview

This six‑day safari offers a memorable introduction to Tanzania’s most celebrated wildlife destinations. Beginning at Lake Manyara National Park, guests encounter tree‑climbing lions, flamingos, and lush forests beneath the Great Rift Valley escarpment. The journey continues to the Serengeti, where vast plains host dramatic encounters between predators and prey. Finally, the adventure concludes at the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its remarkable density of wildlife, including all of the Big Five. Accommodation reflects the diversity of the landscape, from a lakeside lodge to a luxury tented camp and a mountain retreat. Optional experiences, such as a sunrise hot air balloon safari over the Serengeti, provide unforgettable perspectives on Africa’s iconic wilderness.

Travellers arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport on scheduled flights, either arranged independently or through an agent.

After clearing customs and immigration, they are met opposite the Arrivals Hall by a representative, who provides assistance and escorts them to the transfer vehicle for onward travel to the hotel.

When you stay at Ngorongoro Oldeani Mountain Lodge in Karatu, you'll be within the region of Karatu Playground.

After breakfast, the journey continues back to Arusha, with arrival in the city for lunch (excluding drinks). Transfers are then provided to Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport for departure flights, arranged independently or through an agent.

This marks the conclusion of the services.

IMPORTANT Luggage Information:

Travellers should only bring soft-sided bags on safari. Luggage space in safari vehicles is limited. These bags should measure no more than the following: Height 66 centimetres, Length 42 centimetres Width 28 centimetres. Soft-sided bags with wheels are permitted. If travelling on internal flights during your safari, luggage allowances are strictly enforced to 15 kilograms per person, including carry-on bags. If arriving and departing from the same city, bags can be stored in our offices for a one-time fee of $40.00 (per booking, not per bag or per person) to transfer and store the bags and reconnect them with the travellers for departure.
